Origin and Details

Gaia Farm sits on the border of Lempira and Copán, in the shadow of the Celaque mountain range, one of Honduras' highest peaks and a protected biosphere reserve. At 1,650 m, coffee matures slowly under a canopy of shade and fruit trees, tended through fully organic practices that nourish both the land and the Las Flores community. Gaia is as much a social project as it is a farm; offering workers training, scholarships for their children, and support for their own plots. Our selection from Gaia Farm is a washed Catuaí, a variety known for its clean sweetness and bright, consistent cup.

Frequently Asked Questions

What grind should I use?

It depends on your method. We include brewing guides with every order. Coarse for French press, medium for drip, fine for espresso. Each bag tells you what works best.

What are the shipping conditions?

Orders ship within two business days. Standard delivery takes five to seven working days across the UK. We use recyclable packaging because it matters.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship within the UK. We're working on expanding to Europe next year. Sign up for updates if you're outside the UK.

How long does coffee stay fresh?

Whole beans stay fresh for three to four weeks after roasting. We roast to order when possible. Store in an airtight container away from light and heat.

What if I don't like it?

We offer a thirty-day guarantee. If the coffee isn't what you hoped for, we'll refund you or send something different. No arguments.

Is the coffee organic certified?

Most of our beans are grown organically, though not all carry formal certification. We prioritise direct relationships and fair prices over paperwork. Ask us about any specific batch.

Where do you source from?

We work directly with small farms and cooperatives across Ethiopia, Colombia, and Kenya. No brokers, no auctions. We visit the farms, we know the people, we understand the work. That's how we ensure quality and fairness.

How do you ensure fair prices?

We pay above commodity prices and work with the same farms year after year. Transparency matters. Ask us what farmers earn and we'll tell you.
